Adjusting the play out of the plunger.Bought this thing new and put around 29k bales through it and have never done it...my bad.Book says 3 bolts per side holding top plunger rails....wrong 4 per side,after I figured that out was finally able to get it right.Plunger/ledger knives have small chunks missing from baling rake teeth.Might replace the knives but their in good shape otherwise.

22” of new snow and 45 mph winds caused a lot of road closures and my F150 eating more snow than it should. That didn’t mix well with my alternator drive belt and even managed to effect my one day a week paint work

Cool...but.  why do we need touch screen for cement trucks.  How will that simplify or lower the cost... or make the owner $?

I said the same thing. I think it’s built and designed for the big companies you can set it with your mix and it will mix it to the right consistency based on settings. It takes some of the skill the driver needs away for this simple world where nobody can read a map or follow directions never mind pay attention to what the mix is.

Finished minor repairs and going through this auction baler. Tested it out, works good! It's probably going in the magazine classifieds.

Got some stairs installed. Went back a couple days later to take some measurements for other items and the carpenters had the temporary treads on already

Expellant Job. Did you pre stress the main beam before welding the step mounts on.

Nice job on the staircase, did they supply engineered drawings or you had to figure it out? 🙄🤔🤯

Giving the 570 Ranger some Love.

Front differential seal leaking, packing wheel bearings. Bought the grease tool fir front hubs but of course the rear bearing ID  is smaller lol, so jus used finger to squeeze it in between races. Could have done the same on front since I have it all apart, but I like tools 

Not sure why Polaris engineers think the driveshaft yokes on Polaris Rangers don't have to be indexed the same... but I took it machine shop to get it done. I've always felt at road speeds it has a bad howling/vibration.  Polaris dealer said, your not the only person that has done this! Pic of driveshaft before. Yokes are 90° off from each other. Machine shop said they've done others from Polaris Rangers.

Nothing too exciting going on. Just same old winter time routine. 

Upgraded spreaders about a month ago

Two weeks ago. Just another day in "God's country"

Finished feeding out of a bag we had put up of extra corn we had. Had to clean off silo luckily it was warm last week. It went surprisingly well for as cold as it has been

About 3 days after cleaning off. Spoilage was frozen good and well 

Few days later after it thawed

Going to be awhile before we get to the field this spring. I'm feeling a long slow cold thaw compared the past few years

Welded the bottom welds on the stringer beam first, then the top 2 welds. Couple hours with the grinder and sander, and then put the treads on. Welded around the cut out circle in the center and only two little stitches on the bottom side. With all the internal stiffening, everything stayed in place with almost an immeasurable amount of warp. All the holes through the stair is for the electrician to pull wire into each stair tread for lights on the bottom side of each nosing.  He’ll have to work with the finish carpenters putting in the 3” x 12” x 54” walnut treads and landings. Postless tempered glass instead of railing.

No drawings supplied for this one. Just a picture that “we want it to look something like this”. Took a few hours of head scratching to make all the stair dimensions work with the stair opening dimensions and look proper. Had a short time to get it done, so I didn’t have any time to double check anything like I usually do before sandblasting and powder coating. I was fairly confident, but still had a sigh of relief when everything was bolted in place.
