Your's is the style of Mac similar to Yellowrose's that I was thinking of

I'm not versed in dating them but I'd guess it's from the 70s

I thought so too probably. I was able to buy the  spring/slider/drawer latch keepers off the snap on truck a few years ago

I've got a Mr. Heater version with 3 burners. I can get the hangar somewhat warm with a propane torpedo but the heat will blow right out. The infrared is great if you're working in one spot although if it's very cold it'll ice up a 20 or even a 30lb tank. The same with the torpedo so I have to have the tank slightly in the hot stream. I keep my eye out for a 40lb at the transfer station; that's where I found the 30s and they're easy to get recertified for short money. The retail propane suppliers just tell people their tank is no good. I sometimes will keep a tank in my heated shop and take that to the airport for a somewhat longer run time or just run 2 burners.

Mornings have been single digits or below the past week I figured it was a good afternoon to clean up the original lights. That came with the 350 to get them back on it this spring I put LED bulbs in them even got a red and white one to fit in the rear light with the original lens over it. A little polishing compound and some elbow grease they cleaned up nicely. I should also mention that the garage was cold so I sat at the kitchen table and did this  and the girlfriend even helped and didn’t get upset I was working on tractor parts at the table.

Had to put new vacuum actuators on my daughteds 06 f150 and a new style vacuum solenoid - new ps pump on cousins 2010 accord - (fyi honda/acura ) use special ps fluid dont put standard in it - hydraulic line blew under steering column at valve body - messy job and not red but all new lines now i was helping a friend - new non oem and non epa compliant carb n filters on ms260 with exhaust mod

Started on this truck a while back, replacing the engine.  It has taken longer because of complications and time, just fired up for the first time, it runs.  Probably won’t get it done before I have to pull it out to work on Monday morning but I will probably be able to drive it out and back in Monday afternoon to finish it

Drive axle in my 73 Camaro has been making noise for awhile.Took it apart and found a bad pinion bearing.I rebuilt it and changed the 3.23 gears for a set if 3.73's.Posi clutches looked real good so reused them.Car has a healthy small block with a 700R4 auto.The 3.73's should help as the engine was not in its powerband when in overdrive doing about 60-65 mph with the 3.23 gears.

Did an oil pan on this Ram today.  The engine mount bolts have to be loosened to lift the engine, the frame holes for the bolts are slotted.  The driver’s side nut bound up on the bolt, I got it loose enough to lift it but I couldn’t get it to turn back.  I tried a shorter extension and then a fresh battery on the cordless impact, then the air impact, compressor kicked on shortly after that, waited and still no luck.  Was just about to get the torch but oil cooler lines and ECM are close by, compressor was still running by the time I crawled out, so I went back under and the nut moved.  Can never have too many tools!!

Been removing trees on the edge of one of my fields for several years now . Finally getting close to being finished .

Bark looks like hackberry to me, not sure if it grows that far west. Perfect hinge on the takedown.  Nice deer stand!
