No combining because of rain, so I put the close to new old style coop tires that Dad found me, on the front of the Super W4.

It is a Dion, model N14. And yes, it is old. I remember seeing that very blower as new, sitting on the lot at Leinbach Machinery Co. in Winston-Salem, N.C. back in the early 1970's. We bought it at an auction,  probably 30 years ago. 

I found one just like it for sale on internet.

Mowing with the 284 around the lake today. Water level is way down but it’s not that dry along the water’s edge!! Didn’t get stuck, but spun in one spot and decided it was better to leave some growth standing!!

Installed the new hydraulic hoses on the W6.  Placed a resistor on for the coil.  Finished the wiring  connections in the ammeter box.  Very close now!

Dad bought one of those new, M-TA ran it for years at a 70 foot silo. We once put a hand held tach on the PTO at WOT & no load was 720 RPM. I dont know if dad had messed with something or not. Maybe that was normal for them.

Small victories on the W6 tonight.  Finally sourced the correct size hose for the air cleaner to carburator connection.  Installed correct adapter fitting for oil guage (2nd attempt) and placed the Donaldson pre-cleaner decal.

Replaced the blown line on the 544 Hydro.  Took 5 gallons of Hy-Tran to refill the system.  Took some fast idle and working the steering/ hitch controls to bleed the air out.  Backed the 311 plow into a shed and drove the 544 up to Dad's for winter slumber.

I graded 3 different lanes and one road this afternoon with the 686 and the 8' grader scraper. We had a shy inch of rain last night and it softened the road just enough to work down potholes.

More corn harvest with red equipment…but a green grain cart. This is custom work my brother does. No fungicide here, was 40 bu. less than the field we did earlier in the day that did have fungicide applied.
