Since our pictures have disappeared and the video I posted yesterday is there and working, I threw this together this morning. Hope you enjoy it.

Pictures are broken on this site right now. I ended up going today and ran into an old friend. Was wandering through the muscle tractor section and got to the 1256. Once I got done looking it over, I moved on to the next tractor. "Oh, another 856, yawn." Turned out it wasn't just any 856, it was OUR 856 that I had to sell a year ago last May. Other than removing the umbrella, new paint, and putting the batteries back to stock, virtually nothing had been done to it. Same seat, same tires, same emblems, same "M&K" custom step on the left side.

Site seems to have a problem with pictures. Anyway, the FMC picture with chem trails and the like is an altered Delta Airlines dispatch message that some bored pilot changed to read Chem Trails, Mind Control, etc. I'll bet there are some who see it and believe it like flat earthers and the like. Cloud seeding is a real thing in an effort to increase rainfall. It doesn't actually create a cloud but certain clouds that have sufficient moisture in them can be encouraged to release it with a tiny amount of silver iodine. Everyone talks about the weather but no one does anything about it! Well, cloud seeding actually does but in very limited cases - increasing snow in the mountains for spring runoff or maybe just for some rain on crops. There has to be clouds and they have to have moisture in them enough to encourage to freeze and fall.

That is a trick I need to remember!

Friend of mine flew pipeline patrol for over 15,000 hours, I flew with him a couple of times. No cameras were used, if he saw something unusual it was inspected by the good old human eye at tree top height. His normal altitude was about 500 above ground level. One of the lines he patrolled went across Philadelphia International Airport, he’d call the tower, then went into a holding pattern until they gave him clearance to cross, there were a bunch of tanks on the New Jersey side of the Delaware River; we flew across the airport at 200’ or so. First time I flew with him was in the winter, he told me to bring my snowmobile suit, surprised I asked him if the heater in airplane was inoperative. No problem with the heater he said but there are some areas in Northwest Pennsylvania that if we should unexpectedly end up on the ground it might take a day or two for us to walk to civilization. He did have to make 3 precautionary off-airport landings - flew the airplane out of all 3, once after replacing a cylinder jug. Amazing guy, lost his left hand at 7 years old, retired from flying and operated a D-8 Cat. Sorry for the long post, lost him a few years ago, I miss him. RIP Bill

I have no doubt. Very little of it with any real purpose or reason beyond incompetence, ignorance, or profit.

A basic design flaw is the axial piston pump with no charge pump. To compensate they used thermal bypass valves that are open when cold. The dirtiest oil in the system is the oil in the filter housing on the outside of the filter. That is the oil the pump gets when you start it. That makes it very important to maintain clean oil. Any pto clutch or brake failure is cause for an immediate cleanup procedure. Would more filters be cheaper than mcvs?

Lentils are a very short crop and only grow maybe 6-10” tall on a good year. And they will lay down somewhat. We grow them from time to time. And unless your ground is table top flat, you need a true flex header with an air reel to get all the pods .

Yeah she survived. House was shapped like a T. Daughter was in the front part towards the road. He was in the back part where the majority of the explosion took place. It happened under his feet pretty much and after the initial explosion. He went down into the flaming mess in the basement at that point . He had the presence of mind to realize she was in the less damaged front of the house. Got himself out of the debris and got to the daughter and got her out. One of his last acts. Loaded him in the ambulance and he eventually ended up to Grand Rapids at their level 1 trauma center burn ward where he succumbed to his injuries a few days later. He definitely made his last minutes count rescuing her.

I have wondered for a long time, if a part is obsolete, why not put the specs out there so a fella can make his own part.

Going back, I used a couple of small zip ties to hold the pan gasket in place, started a couple of bolts, then cut the ties and pulled out.

Valvoline Restore and Protect is some top notch oil that will clean out all of the deposits without clogging the oil filter. Is it burning oil like a stuck ring? if so, this is what i would go for. If not burning it, it may be the o ring. Either way, go with Valvoline Restore and Protect. Look up Lake Speed's Youtube videos on it, complete with dyno testing and oil analysis. He is a real oil scientist with a degree and this is what he does for a living, so it is not just another opinion.

I just pulled the pan and replaced the o ring on the pickup tube. Mine is 4x4 but I did not have to pull the center section or exhaust. On a 2wd van it shouldn't be that hard, I wouldn't think. It's been 8 or so years ago and the oil pressure has been fine since.

+oil pump is front of crankshaft. You can swap the pump carefully just through timing cover. But you really need to pull pan and do it right. Clean or replace pickup tube, relief valve in pan , oil pump, chain and guides. I am just in process of going to do this on my 13 with 5.3 amf and vvt. It’s not bad to get pan off . You probably need some parts in the 4wd any way. If 4wd pull diff, drop bolts out of steering rack. And I think exhaust can stay. You just can clean everything up good and run it a long time again. After I am done with 5.3 I have to fix wife and kids 6.0 in a hand me down 2500. I usually pull valve covers and clean pcv tunnel also just to get everything ship shape. Rock Auto. Is your friend here. Look for a good melling high volume pump not high pressure but high volume. Have done a couple of these already. Got 287000 miles on the 13 5.3 I am going to do here in a bit.

Dexos oil in the high mileage helps. The oring is a problem but so is the oil pump. Beet thing is to pull the oil pan and timing cover. Swap out pump, pickup oring and relief valve in pan.

They are pretty well known for the o ring on the oil pickup tube going bad and causing that. I had to do the one on my 01 Yukon 5.3 which fixed the exact situation you have.

No issues at all ,Ace....this is a simple and often used conversion...pipe trailer to excavator.. you will require four (4) large loader tyres....say...off a 966 Caterpillar loader...complete with hydraulic motors......you bolt them on the outside of your pipe trailer......Don't use those old coach bolts you snavelled from that Electric Power truck while no one was looking....use Caterpillar branded bolts ...they are compatible with your ''modus operandi'' Cat running gear.. Now the next step is to find an old excavator with stuffed tracks......discard the running gear.....gently lower the rest of the excavator onto the pipe trailer..connect the track motor hoses to the wheel hydraulic motors....you will require extra hose and a few hose clips...for the front end...and bingo ...the conversion is ready for the ariel inspection person... ...forgot about steerage...but i'm sure you will figure that out .... besides I am too tired to indulge in further verbal compost...but good luck, anyway... Mike (Ace has such a fertile mind...never know what is going on in side there...but this should encourage him on his latest project...)

Hi Dan. I know we talked about this, but have a couple of thoughts. Making 57 hp is quite the feat. No wonder the governor struggles. What compression is it producing? (On gas of course) My gas M drives very different from the MD. The diesels just don't make power unless at higher rpm. The M will idle right down to nothing. Like 2 mph in 5th gear. And throttle right back up. Especially now after the rebuild. It accidentally ended up with too much compression (had to update the coil to get it to start) and it sounds like a race car at idle. And it idles lumpy. But it still drives better than the diesels.

We are all aware of the theories on contrails. We've seen the chemtrail control panel pic that @New Englander has posted but I can't now (must be another conspiracy). The truth is the US Government conducted numerous experiments putting chemicals in the atmosphere. Below are some examples. Shortly after WWII, Project Cirrius dropped hundreds of pound of dry ice into a Hurricane to see if they could change the weather. They dropped the dry ice into the hurricane after it had crossed over Florida and went out to sea. The storm changed, then intensified and turned due west striking Georgia.
