  1. Happy birthday!!!! Congrats on the new grandson 👏
  2. Way more than a farm tractor from where im from...
  3. We have pretty soft soil where I live in michigan. Im pretty sure we had the 2 bottom i was pulling down around 7 or 8 inches. Thanks for the info!
  4. But if I happen to find a 3 bottom do you think I would be OK pulling it with 2 sets of weights?
  5. I found 2 sets of wheel weights for my 1950 farmall m for a pretty good price. I did some plowing with a 2 bottom oliver plow and it pulled it well in pretty dry soil. My dad is talking about getting a 3 bottom trailer plow to use for our m's. My tires would spin a bit pulling that 2 bottom up a hill that's pretty steep but the engine had plenty of power. You guys think with 2 sets of wheel weights on my m would be enough to pull a 3 bottom plow or should I consider put on 3 sets?
  6. Does anybody know why you cannot post pictures of anything or what's wrong with the website??
  7. My dad is putting as MANY hours as he can into this tractor so it Will be the best looking tractor we have owned. I help him when I can but the amount of work hes done to this thing is unbelievable. GO DAD!!! Sadly I can't upload any images😓
  8. Don't get me wrong, I like disc brakes but you have to put all of your weight into them to slow down. The guy I bought the m from with the m&w parts on it had just redone them before I bought it.
  9. Can you put in a picture so I can see yours?
  10. My dad bought a farmall 856 custom and that is his favorite tractor.
  11. Yes I do. The 1951 which is the better running tractor, my dad is beginning to tear down to restore. The 1950 which is the one with blowby we are going to keep original because the paint is in very good shape and it still has the original dealer tags from allegan michigan. Once we are done working on the other tractors I would assume we will put a set of rings in the 1950.
  12. On the 46 its 110035
  13. Yup. Those are in fact lambert brakes.
  14. Every time the new tractor breaks, the old girls never ever will. The m's were the tractor you could always count on.
  15. I checked and they are lambert, thanks for the info!
