Christmas present

Bought myself a Christmas present 

Always wanted an onland plow and finally found one close by. 45 minutes one way with tractor and half hour to hook up and change a hydraulic tip that was worn and leaked. Roads were clean yesterday, that was a plus.

Nice ALways liked the IH plows. Looks to be in decent shape. Congrats on the find.

Colters are big, moldboards are not thin on the edges, I see landslides, that puts them about 90% better than most of the plows I see for sale around here.

Looks like it's in pretty good shape. Just needs a shine on the bottoms 😊

I agree with others, looks to be in good condition.  Has coulters and a cylinder...those seem to have been stripped off of most plows around here.  Not a lot of on land plows in my neck of the woods.  Seems like most had semi-mount in furrow and by the time plows were getting big enough that on land became common most had quit plowing already.

Probably the 1066 but all will pull it

An on land hitch is the only way to plow.

5 bottom onlands are not a easy find. Nice plow.

Looks like you got a nice one, I always wanted to try a On Land plow. Yours will look good behind that 1066!

Have never plowed with an on-land-hitch plow. I could see some really crooked furrows if I did, stupid butterflies. I believe tests have shown that in-furrow is actually more efficient.

I just like that you don’t have to prep the tractor. You can leave the duals on, the tread spacing doesn’t matter, you can hook anything on and go.

Nice looking plow. I'll be interested to hear your reaction after you have used it some. I have a 6-18 700 semimount infurrow plow that I use behind the older 2+2. Thought an onland plow would be better, so bought a 720 6-18 or 20? for the other 2+2 when one sold at auction. But I was never happy with the way the onland plow worked, so I use just the infurrow now.

I’m hoping it works good. 
My brother has a onland plow and I’ve ran that for him a few times and love it. I’m not a plow expert but I can muddled my way though.

I'm sure it won't, im hooking up to the gooseneck and filling with fuel, I dont want you to get stuck with it.😉

I've found places all over the country, i can find you, but I think I could find you easier if you changed out the bat signal with an IH signal. Seems more fitting.😃
