He lived a full, adventure filled life and he entertained the world whilst doing so! A sad day indeed and my heart goes out to Sharon and his children..

Gonna listen to his duet with Lita Ford tonight on the drive home.  "If I Close My Eyes Forever ".   RIP Ozzy.

Weird coincidence.  For some reason, that song entered my mind when I heard the news too.

His song “ Shot in the dark “ was my favorite of his. I always crank that one up when it comes on the radio.

Controversial opinion:

Jake E. Lee might have been Ozzy's greatest guitar player.

Possibly, he's at least not given enough recognition.

I like some of his music. The guitar playing in Crazy Train is awesome. I however lost a ton of respect when he disrespected USA . He was not a American citizen and said he was going to leave.Well he made his fortune here, lived here a good part of his life and all of a sudden we are no good.I thought just leave then and don't let the door hit you in the ... .

A lot of celebrities should keep their cake hole shut. Bruce Springsteen has been dissing America as well.

IMHO We put them where they are but that doesn't mean we want their opinions .a smart celebrity is a quiet one

I liked his music, but it did irk me when he dissed the U.S.  he has a right to his opinion, as does everyone. But ya.

He had many great players Randy,Zakk but I think Tony was the best.Sabbath sounds as good as they did 50 years ago and is timeless

Sharon was quoted once that Ozzy's body was super human to deal with the large amounts of cocaine and other drugs he used.  She also said that after the apocalypse,  Ozzy, Keith Richards and the cockroaches would be the only survivors!

  • This song is a reflection on Ozzy's life; when he looks back on the "wreckage of his past," he sees the "road to nowhere" leads to him. Ozzy had just gone sober after over 20 years of drug and alcohol abuse. He credited his wife/manager Sharon with keeping him alive.
