Car was taken down and buried in 2012 I think. On display as a warning to local kids. Initially put on the roof because so many kids knew the victims and wanted to see it that they broke down the fence to the towing yard twice early on after the accident. Or so the article claimed. That was my era we would wrench all day Saturday to stop light race Saturday night Then we moved on to 4x4s and hill climbing lost a friend at one "event" He wasn't wearing a seat belt was ejected in rollover and the Jeep rolled over him. stronger800 Posted May 14 Posted May 14 I went through a corner right within sight of our barn, at 122-123 one night, rubbing fenders my Camaro against my buddy’s supercharged ford. Passed him in the corner, as the paint exchange witness marks between my rear bumper and his front fender proved. Then he passed me again on the straight away. He could run 130’s, I couldn’t. Mph dropped a lot when you added a passenger. He backed that car into a drainage ditch one night it, looked like the space shuttle ready to launch, nose straight up in the air tires about 5 feet off the ground. Backed up to him with the 826, very easy to hook the chain as the front cross member was at eye level. 4 Quote
