I find it extremely handy, way better than drilling and welding panels like the old days. The upper dent had way too much concave/tension to it, so I had to weld a plate on it to pull it out.

My buddy and his buddy are making 2 double sized King Tonka trucks for their Grandsons for Christmas.made to scale off Tonka toy,14 gauge,with steerable front axle and drawbar like a kids wagon.he has a cnc plasma cutter

Very sharp hillman . My favorite toy tractor was a case 90 series, seen it on a shelf in hardware store wanted it got it for my birthday only lasted a few days my cousin played with it left it by the road and it was smashed by the schoolbus.

Should be. Every Christmas I would get a toy tractor as it was all I wanted,don’t have any of them now so I guess I’m to blame too but I’ll never forget the look of that case crushed by the bus, was not happy.

My buddy made a delivery inside the Skydome/ Roger's Center yesterday.

Cleaned up a couple walnuts, will saw the smaller logs. Going to haul the bigger logs to sell in the AM. Prices are supposed to be good right now. 🤞

It's finally done, just need to put the interior back together, seat in place all be good. Color is a hair darker, but considering the paint was sitting in the shop for over 10 years, I'm not going to complain

they have been upgrading the Skydome for a few years, I assume that what is going on , I will text him. I used to go to a good number of Blue Jays games but its so built up around there I don't bother anymore. I am sure it was a PITA

Been a long time since we’ve bought any steel. That was a bit of a sticker shock for that little bit in the truck lol. Figured 3-400 when I was at home. Got to town and switched a couple things so figured 4-500. Ended up just under 800. Probably overpaid a bit as it’s just a small town steel supplier. Not many places left that will cut random lengths though.  Probably the worst one was the 2.5” od x1.5” id seamless pipe. 160 bucks for 2’.  Working on a skid steer quick attach for that degalmen dozer blade.  Already reengineering a bit as my plans had to change but hopefully finish it this weekend. Snowed today again so it would be nice to have it working.

I'm working on about the same thing, reengineering the mount for a Western truck blade on my JD loader. I paid $35 for a 6" steel bushing 1"ID with 3/8 wall thickness. The 4x2 rectangular tubing I've had sitting around for 35 years. Mine will swivel in the middle on a 1" grade 8 bolt, similar to the newer Western plows. finished up the piece that will pin to the plow tonight. The old Auto Arc welder is still getting it done

Replacing headlights on my wife's 07 Camry.    She has a new car but keeps driving this one.    Old ones were so yellowed you could only see about 30ft out.... Especially on low beams.

IH inspired night light or cabinet display light. Part old school 12 volt emergency light,a piece of 5 inch exhaust pipe and a 1066 oil pressure and temperature gauge.

If the finished part is to be relatively short, it is industry knowledge that it is cheaper to buy solid round and drill/bore it to size.

Yes unfortunately wasn’t a good option there. It’s 8 inches long so wouldn’t work well in the lathe.

Slowly making progress. Slow going making sure everything fits where it’s supposed to and clears when the blade is angled.  Few welds I’m not to proud of. Few that aren’t to bad. Hopefully they’ll hold up anyways. I’m no fabricator that’s for sure lol.
