DT Fan Posted June 8, 2025 Author Posted June 8, 2025 Took the H to the annual Red Rock Threshers pull yesterday. Middle of the pack in 4000 and 4500lb. classes. Some nice Red iron in attendance. Pull-back tractor was a B.S. 1466 with 23.1x34's, I like it. 8 Quote

MT Matt Posted June 9, 2025 Posted June 9, 2025 Started mowing yesterday. Dropped part of an irrigated field with the SMTA. Then cleaned up the ditch in front of the field with the Super A. Gonna be a light year for hay this year. 9 Quote
leeave96 Posted June 9, 2025 Posted June 9, 2025 Pulling a 7ft disc with the 886 across a hayfield that is being refurbished… 9 Quote
DT Fan Posted June 10, 2025 Author Posted June 10, 2025 Got the 10 out of mothballs, hooked on the 490 disc and went to the neighbors to disc the jungle! Went over it twice, about 7 acres. Some of it is ready to plant the sorghum Sudan grass, other places..... Lots of thistles and cottonwood trees. 3 Quote

It is patiently waiting its turn for some TLC. Need to get it down to Herrs for a hydro. The rest is all downhill. 3 Quote
MT Matt Posted June 10, 2025 Posted June 10, 2025 Raked last night. Ready to bale some today. 95 degrees and windy yesterday. Everything is drying out too fast. Hot again today but supposed to cool down some this week. 9 Quote
DT Fan Posted June 11, 2025 Author Posted June 11, 2025 Powerwashed the 856 today, then drove it down to F.S. and filled it with fuel. My barrel is empty and waiting until closer to harvest to fill it. She's going tractor riding next Monday. Also power washed the pan for the 450, nasty thing. 7 Quote
MT Matt Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 Raked more hay this morning in a small field with the Super C and the IH #15. Spent the evening baling what was raked yesterday. Someone forgot to fill the Super MTA… 🤷🏻♂️ fortunately I had two gas cans in Blue. Had to do the walk of shame across the field. Oh well, won’t be the last time I’m sure. 9 Quote
IHandJDman Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 Put new front tires on the 1086. The others have served well, these are BTKs. 9 Quote
SONNY Posted June 11, 2025 Posted June 11, 2025 tilled up the 2 acres in the garden with the 504 and 72" KK tiller. Sprayed weeds by the waterways with the cub and mounted sprayer. 5 Quote
Reichow7120 Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 The H tedding and raking hay and the 105U square bailing some hay. 9 Quote
John Rowehl Posted June 12, 2025 Posted June 12, 2025 Got it out of the garage/shop so the LP supplier’s tech could get to the gas lines to check for a leak. Plus, the shop was overdue for spring cleaning. Now that the renewing process is about done, I plan to bring it to a show the weekend after this coming one, meeting up with some other members of IHCC Chapter 8, Southeast PA. I guess I should wash the tires off.🧐 11 Quote
chadd Posted June 13, 2025 Posted June 13, 2025 Tried out the newly restored and upgraded M for the first time on the grain drill this week. Tractor worked flawlessly! Didn't notice the grain drill was back there pulling it in 1st Hi gear! When I bought it there was more water in the rear end than oil and the entire rear end and transmission were trashed... 13 Quote
IHandJDman Posted June 13, 2025 Posted June 13, 2025 I sprayed the only field I am spraying myself. Good old 1951 M and a 250 gallon sprayer. 10 Quote
IHhogfarmer Posted June 13, 2025 Posted June 13, 2025 Earlier this week I got the hydraulics working on my Great-Great Grandpa’s 1953 Super C. The seal in the pump was bad. Mowed with it and it works great. Hoping to get the IH #9 rake on it soon to rake some hay. 12 Quote
IHandJDman Posted June 13, 2025 Posted June 13, 2025 Corn feeding time. Uan 28% mixed with ATS. Corn is behind schedule with the cooler weather and my planter did not get enough nitrogen on. Playing catchup now. 10 Quote
oldtech Posted June 13, 2025 Posted June 13, 2025 Took a drag to cover the broadcast seed on a deer food plot with my 784. Nothing fancy. 4 Quote
Loadstar Posted June 13, 2025 Posted June 13, 2025 Had new Firestone radials installed on the front of the 7130 yesterday and parked it in the shed today. With the price of new tires I want to protect them from the weather as much as possible. Sure have some deep lugs on those Firestones. 15 Quote
