Mike Bahahaha! Brooks and Dung… I never heard that before. I am disappointed in myself that I didn’t think of that by now…. Here is a song that you seldom hear. Pretty sure they were canadian - I’m not sure if it got much play in the States? Quote
TroyDairy Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 I stumbled on Ella Langley out of Alabama. Youtube her. Old soul voice and some well wrote songs i have enjoyed last few weeks. Nothing crazy but most are actually country sounding vs crap on radio. Quote

Actually I don't need to know ..... although the bloke pictured looks like he could throw a mean bale of hay...??? All the best to you two ''music'' lovers... Mike ...now I have stirred every one up..I will head back into the boonies...gently humming ''The sound of music'' or my favourite Willie Nelson song..."A Horse called Music "' 1 Quote
clay neubauer Posted January 17, 2025 Posted January 17, 2025 Lzzy Hale is kind of like bacon. Because if you add Halestorm to pretty much any recipe, it makes something good even better. Quote

Mike I had tickets for them about 40 years ago at Maple Leaf Gardens with Huey Lewis opening, It was cancelled -I think because Huey got very popular fast and was headlining themselves about 22 years ago I had tickets for them at the casino in Orillia but its a 3 hour drive and there was a blizzard Finally about 15 years ago I saw them at the casino in Niagara Falls. They didn't disappoint!!!!!!!! I have a DVD player in my shop . I often have Live at Sturgis playing., note for note live 4 Quote
