Last night we were on the edge of the storm. No rain but very nice light show. Up near CIHTECH they had a very nasty storm. Went thru there today and had lots of tree limbs and leaves in the road.

Got nailed on the right temple two weeks ago by the little buggers. A good shot from a can of non-clor brake clean worked wonders. Put the little straw in the tip and you can some range.

1.5 inches here last evening at 630. Really dumped buckets for half hour. Two miles west didn't get a drop. Go south and east and their burnt up. Here were having a good corn silage season.

Some things to look at after repairing several brands of hay mowers for customers. Some brands have a wear clutch under each turtle and some don't. Easier to pull just that turtle and related parts to replace. Some brands have separate oil compartments under each turtle versus the whole bar being one complete oil compartment. The ones with separate compartments, if you have a bearing failure, contain the failure to that compartment instead of contaminating the whole cutter bar. Way easier to clean and rebuild if their separate. Just rebuilt a Case mower conditioner for a guy. Had to replace half the bearings and gears in the cutter bar because the routine spring maintenance wasn't done. 5000 dollars later it was fixed. Can't stress it enough. Do the spring maintenance even if your late into the field!!! You'll thank yourself later.

When my truck was wrecked 6 years ago I could not find one anywhere for a diesel. Every body shop said to cut the bottom of both of them and weld the diesel bottom to the gas top. All the gas mounting holes lined up.

There's a guy that hitch hikes here locally. Normally shirtless. Local fellow that's a little messed up in the head. See people pick him up some.

Time to open all the wells they closed years ago. What ever happened to drilling in Alaska? We have more then enough to supply our needs if it was allowed.

That's what I'm wanting to do with both my pickups. Spend the money on them that I know are simple and bullet proof instead of newer that has a second home at the dealers shop.

I just got a 2001 f250 crew cab on Sat. Diesel with a 6 speed. 385000 on the clock. Nice truck from 50 feet away, but don't open the doors or crawl under the cab!!. Inside is way nicer then the outside. Acem. I'm in the market for a rust free crew cab for a salt free state. Anybody that has a lead on one... I'm interested in it. Would rather rebuild this truck with it's proven engine then buy a newer one that's junk.

Jesse at Restoration tractor maybe?? I know he buys lots of tractors out west of him.

Time to reinstate public caning's also.
