IH Blood 1206 Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 Not trying to step on anyone here but saw this on Facebook and had to share. Looks like there's going to be a great show in Rantoul next year! 6 Quote
Drysleeves Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 interesting They did that with the D-21 last year and there were several rows of those including the first and last ones built. There are a few pre-production 1206's floating around including some of the fabled West Texas tractors featured in a RP article from a few years ago. I happen to have seen one in the wild and tried to acquire it but was unsuccessful. Tractor was parked outside largely unused with flat tires but it looked decent and ran normally when started. Such a shame.... Quote
ChrisNY Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 I plan on having mine there next year. 2 Quote

nepoweshiekfarmalls Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 Maybe some of us could share trucking costs and haul a load of 1206's? I would take mine, but don't want to tow it that far behind a pickup. Quote

ChrisNY Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 Thats what I am trying to do. Friend of mine and former board member is planning on taking his so planning on having mine hitch a ride with him on his lowboy. Not crazy about hauling mine halfway across the country behind my 3/4 ton. 1 Quote

nate Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 Me and my brother have 3- 1206’s that would add to the gathering. Not sure I can come up with enough scratch to get them hauled there and back from Minnesota Quote

And I need to leave a little wiggle room between them too. I chain tight, but I like to leave room for error! Quote

Sledgehammer Posted October 21, 2024 Posted October 21, 2024 Could NF tractors be staggered to get more room? Quote
IHhogfarmer Posted October 21, 2024 Posted October 21, 2024 Kinda hard to believe a 1206 is a 60 year old tractor. I’m 23 so that probably doesn’t make much sense coming from me but it does seem weird to think that tractor is that old. Still looks modern. Quote
mader656 Posted October 21, 2024 Posted October 21, 2024 Id say 4 if no weights or fluid in tires 3 if ballasted. Quote
DT361 Posted October 21, 2024 Posted October 21, 2024 Seems like 4 - either by length or weight? Quote
