bitty Posted January 8, 2023 Author Posted January 8, 2023 Slobbered some paint on a header cart I put together. Got the gear last Saturday and I will haul home the header we got on this. One hub has a broken off wheel bolt and all the wheel bearings should be changed before eternity. It's a grove wagon gear , hitch was cobbled so I adapted another one for it . Hope to make two more for both corn heads so they are easy to sneak in storage and are off the ground without having to use pallets or blocking . Fire chamber is a 30" OD gas well pipe 5' long, 6" schedule 40 for the stack. Hopefully it will be done before I get asked to sleep on the couch 😁 water level is going to be about the blue line with the horizontal exhaust pipe in the water yet . Will have a clean out on each end of the horizontal pipe 5 Quote

My dealer hooked me up with a pre emissions one that was only used for two years for the right price and I was back going in two weeks. My parents have a woodmaster gasification one. They say it only uses about 60 percent of the wood their old one did. Quote

I'm going to splice the one end as I had some used 3/8" plate that wasn't quite big enough from an oil delivery tank from something I scraped out 14 Quote

I have to add tin outside and finish the door latch and put door seal in . Tile floor is nippy in the house although it is not really that bad in here . bitty Posted January 15, 2024 Author Posted January 15, 2024 I have to remember to start taking more pictures... Made gussets for a skidloader grapple we got at an auction. Made cardboard pattern and torches out 6 out of AR400 . I first doubled the thickness of the bottom latch hole plate. Other recent small projects were to cut off axles and weld on some used 6 bolt AG spindle hub assemblies on a firewood hauling trailer so I can use the new take off tire wheels for $5.00 each on the cart . Had the hubs from when we upgraded the roller to 8 bolt hubs 5 Quote
