Shadow, that I was babysitting is back home and becoming a solid part of my son's family.

Such a little sweetheart and good with the kids

Dog sitting at daughter’s last night.  Look close. The one blends in IMG_5434.thumb.jpeg.c5fae9a088420d01ed172778a3915cac.jpeg

Our chocolate would disappear on a brown couch, she went to my parents every day when I went to work, when it was time to go home, if she didn’t want to go she kept her eyes shut, and wouldn’t respond. You might make 3 trips by her looking before you spotted her. No shame once she was busted either, just side eye, like I was in the wrong.

I have had a stress filled week with my buddy.  The vet suggested CET Chews to keep his teeth clean. Sunday the wife gave him one and I commented it disappeared quickly. 2am he is whining( never does this in the night) so I take him outside, Liquid yellow poop with blood in it. He stopped poopng and vet was too busy to see him. Thursday I called him and said if he doesn't get in I am done with them..he got in. He had a fever and they gave him antibiotics and canned food. Not until this morning did he poop regular

Those treats are digestible but they are hard and brittle without moisturizing from chewing. I do not recommend them if you think you need them . My guy will never get them again. It has been terrible worrying about my little buddy

It has been very nasty windy here.  And cold. We were out this morning, and when we came back in he kinda disappeared while I was pouring coffee. Found him under the tree, by the heat.  He’s never once been in that spot before. IMG_5788.thumb.jpeg.a79c6846fe831ae211a22923e6398e26.jpegIMG_5790.thumb.png.7ebf8119e82a11d579c0a4d0422f254b.png

I hate that feeling. Glad your buddy is doing better.

Fwiw, every few years I just have the very anesthetize my boy and clean his teeth. They only live so long. Is it long enough for teeth to really rot? Maybe it is, I just don't know.

I had his cleaned at an insane price tag

They were just as bad in a few weeks after changing his food to what the vet suggested for clean teeth and another insane price per bag

He is extremely attached to me and the whole ordeal was much to hard on him

I see it already found a comfortable spot to sleep.

The dogs have had a tough week. Shadow was helping move cows in the corral and got a front leg stomped on. Tore a pretty good chunk of hide off, but he never quit and he has quit the head business.
Dolly is sore just from chasing the ball and frisbee. Old age SUCKS!! Anyway we were in Menards and got them new toys. Shadow isn’t interested in either but Dolly has destroyed the squeakers in both. I think she likes the Chilli pepper better than the coon.

I couldn’t get close enough, but her head was pushed awkwardly against the gate. Can’t be close enough.
