The high official count of the 1206's at H.C.O.P was 263. Sales of my new 06 series tractor photo archive book from 1831press.com were great!! Sold out in 1 day!!

A non running/stuck IH diesel like this should be scrap price or less to buy it. You can EASILY put $5K (or more!!) in the engine alone. The T/A could be $2K or more to fix/replace and the price list just keeps going up......

Railroads (and landowners) pay taxes to the Gvt. The Gvt uses some of this tax money to build/fix the Interstates that trucks drive on. The RR didn't get their infrastructure for FREE from the Govt like trucks do.....so trucks have a huge advantage from the start.... Smaller, regional rail lines are the $$$ makers right now. They serve the little guy the big Class 1's deemed "not important"...... So many grain elevators are regretting dumping rail use years ago now and loosing their local rail line. Grain is a BULK commodity...hauling it in trucks is not bulk handling. If you ship in BULK and want lowest cost per ton....go river barge.

A ~500 hour 966 that was repainted and has aftermarket decals is a big red flag for me...... Glad they got what they did for it....

No...the dual power option was not available at the start. If you are wanting a blue tractor in that HP size, step up and get a 5610 or 6610. Better features and comfort on both.

They steer nice because they are LIGHT WEIGHT....compare the weight of a 806 to a 4010-4020 and see....

Both have thier good and bad points.... THIS year...I'd say HCOP. I will be there Friday only with a limited number of copies of the all new I.H.C. (Innovation Hinsdale Collection) 06 Series Photo Archive book to sell. Stop by the tent at the 1206 display and buy a book, talk some IH, get smart! You might even get to see some other never seen before IH Hinsdale IH stuff there.......🤗

I see more success with the Crary setup. The adjustable hold downs and double cut finger guards are good features. I have a few customers with CIH sickle and Crary guards. They work well too. Have not seen much sucess with the SCH setup over the years...

This black repaint version was one of the first 715's made/sold. He really wanted #1 but that didn't happen...

Here's the 411 on the black quad on display at the Racine County Fair..........This is a 1 of 1 black paint job by CNH for a very good customer in the area. Their name is on the tractor fender. They have several other unique CIH tractors (black-red/gold paint ect) in their collection. This 715 was sold new by our dealership and it has never been in the field and (probably) never will. It was bought to be put away in their "museum"....

the last 686 is sn# 13729...built 8-19-1980.

This tractor is NOT the first F-300 Made. The owner can wish/believe this if they want. Advertising it as such is lying. IH did not make ANY hi-clear tractors as sn# 501 in any model.

Had the same issue when it was in Madison, SD in 1998-99?? Only 1 hotel in town or you drive an hour to Brookings or Sioux Falls, SD. If you book early, you stay close by...

Definetly NOT a Woods, Kub Klipper or Danco...I would guess a Pennington brand mower.

The decal location blueprint from IH told me of the light decal location. I'm sure very few people remember them as brand new, untouched, fresh from the factory machines.

The flashng light decal goes on the glass lens of the rear work light. it was meant to be removed by the owner after taking delivery of the tractor AND reading the owners manual. You can place it wherever you want, if you even want to put it on........
