They ought to be ashamed for being so incompetent. I recently had to have a wiring harness made for 2007 robot that we made for Honda. Way past any lawfully required support but they wouldn't buy a new replacement robot and they insisted we repair the old one. We didn't even have the prints any longer we had to make new prints and bill of material So GM should be able to make it happen I will say this after my dealing with Honda I will never buy another Honda anything, their procurement folks are bunch of A-holes IMO. They apparently talked to the wrong people. The approved procedures are in the GM service manuals including air bag harness’s. If there really was no other option the insurance company would have totaled it to get the claim closed. This guy is just like the one that posted a long YouTube video criticizing Holland anvils because he didn’t get a free t shirt. This is why I no longer deal with the public. Quote
stronger800 Posted March 23 Posted March 23 I had a “high pressure” fuel pump go bad on a GM product under warranty, during covid times. It’s not the pump in the tank. There was apparently no pumps available in the country for my 2 1/2 year old truck which seems very strange. I checked with several Gmc dealers they all said the same, A dealership in Texas thought they had the right one but it was incorrect. Warranty would not pay for an aftermarket pump, And said they would not warranty it in the future if I put one in. After two months of driving, the tiny loaner car that they gave me, I bought an aftermarket one. They charged me a reduced labor rate for putting it in, no warranty but I got my truck back. Then I traded it for a different brand. 6 Quote
