Chester5732 Posted Sunday at 02:15 AM Posted Sunday at 02:15 AM Never heard of them but curious to see the responses. I called the fella in Florida one time but with his broken English and my poor hearing I couldn’t understand much he said. Quote

He rebuilt 2 Tach's for me. Star Speedomet 1 386 569 5284. Quote
snoshoe Posted Sunday at 03:28 AM Posted Sunday at 03:28 AM Jerry Tryka is his name. Has been THE place to go for quality JD gauges. Branched out a while ago into other colors. Didn't know he was doing tachs. Quote
Sledgehammer Posted Sunday at 10:49 AM Posted Sunday at 10:49 AM There was a place advertised in RP mag a few years ago. Could be the same guy. I've never have work done by him personally. Quote
Matt Kirsch Posted Monday at 09:07 AM Posted Monday at 09:07 AM I'd be curious about the "except" case. Was it due to a mistake made by Evergreen? Was the tach just to far gone to repair? If a bad repair, were they able to make it right, or did they tell him to suck eggs? One bad pickup truck out of tens of thousands is enough to sour a man on a brand for life, even if the manufacturer bends over backwards to make it right. One bad gauge repair out of a dozen should have a guy bad-mouthing the place to every person he runs into, not singing their praises. Quote
DT Fan Posted Monday at 10:20 AM Posted Monday at 10:20 AM I've got some traction booster gauges for my Alley cats I'd like to get repaired, basically just a hydraulic pressure gauge. Think one of these guys could do them? Quote

Or used to be. 1 Quote
