He sets up at the Snow of Shows in Louisville KY every year. Largest military collector show on earth I believe. I've seen the guys stuff.

If I am buying I tell the seller I am actually going to show up and I mean it. I give a specific time I will arrive and tell them if I have vehicle trouble I will call. People will understand pretty quickly if you mean what you say. This is done with an old fashioned thing called a telephone. I don't mind texts after the initial contact with someone but I ask first what they prefer. When I sell I say calls only. If you aren't man enough to call someone on the telephone then you don't need what I'm selling.

I see nothing wrong with this. Just ask him straight up if he is still interested and willing to pay by whatever date you discussed. Tell him you are asking because you have other interested parties and don't want to miss a sale whether to him or someone else.

I normally make a list as people call me. First caller gets first chance. If they are up front about needing to wait until XX day within reason we discuss it and I tell them it's theirs if they are actually coming. I tell subsequent callers that they are 2nd, 3rd, etc.. If first guy takes item I contact others and let them know item is sold and thank them for the interest. If guy 1 shows up trying to knock my price and I have a list waiting the price doesn't go up or down. It's fixed at that point.

Normally 5-6" probably on a bobcat. Looks like a little tuft when they are all furred up for winter.

Bobcats are petty thick here. They didn't exist here 20yrs ago. I've seen as many as 3 at a time. Still lots of coyotes also. Used to see more than we do now. I've seen as many as 8 of them at the same time in the daylight. Our second weekend of gun season is going on now. After getting a deer first season I have still been going but am looking for an older cull buck. On our property we feel like there are too many bucks and the buck to doe ratio is heavy on the bucks so I will try and take out something old or with no future to help the gene pool some.

We need a service to deliver goods. Like it or not, Amazon is succeeding because they get the job done. USPS (management) has priced and slacked their way nearly into oblivion. Now, most of the local workers aren't the issue. My local office delivers every day what they get brought in to them. The hubs cannot get help supposedly and management has zero option for recourse against them. If I want to file a complaint against the postal service I have to call my state representative who, in turn calls the local office based on my address and gripes at them. The locals here are the best workers they have. It's out of their control. The system is total garbage.

I sincerely hope your household isn't run by the beurocratic no fault type that leads the postal service.

Doesn't sound good. Not sure that USPS could get any worse though.

Sorry for the poor luck on the mountain. That's never fun. I've had scopes that wouldn't hold zero and you never figure it out until it's too late. Darn it all....

Is it a light weight bar? I hear those are all the rage with good lumberjacks. Probably just need to find a good homelite and the problem will go away.

Normally use the Farmall 95 and #80 blower for what we get and clearing the lane to the house.

I've been around a few from mild to wild. Any more a 384 resolution scope is about entry level. A 640 resolution scope is 2x the clarity basically. Then, you get into things like range finders (internal and external) and other options.

We use the silver duct tape. Not Red Green's duck tape, the actual silver reflective stuff. Cut it into squares or circles and put on a different color backing. Shows up great and an $8 roll lasts a LONG time.

Prices are all over. I know people who hunt a lot at night for varmints. Everyone I know uses thermal over night vision. They can be used during the day also if necessary. I have used both and prefer the thermal technology over night vision personally. Your wallet will know what happened after buying one 😊 I can put you in touch with a place that sells a lot of them and is good to deal with if you decide to do something.
