  1. That's a load for sure.
  2. "Tougher than a pine knot" "it's a strange and wonderful relationship, they are both strange and it's wonderful they found each other" "he's sharp like a marble"
  3. "We're off like a prom dress" My Dad did say this one "you give a man a rope and enough time and he's bound to hang himself sooner or later" in reference to people being shady in business dealings. "He's so poor he can't pay attention" "Did your parents have any children that lived?" "colder than a witches tit in a brass bra"
  4. "If brains were gasoline, he wouldn't have enough to run a piss ants go kart 2 laps around a Cheerio" "dumber than a box of hair" "there's only two things keeping you from kicking my a$$, fear and common sense"
  5. My Dad doesn't have saying but Ive heard a few. @vtfireman85 was referencing "I've been to three county fairs, two whore houses, and a goat roping, but I ain't never seen anything like that" "you give that boy a job laying down and he would stand up to quit" "worthless as tits on a boar" "I'll be dipped" "so much for a fountain of youth, what about a fountain of smart" in reference to someone not using a turn signal- "I didn't know that (insert model here) car didn't come with signals?" "that boy doesn't have the sense God gave a goose" "if I could buy him for what I thought he was worth and sell him for what he thought he was worth, we could all retire"
  6. Good to know he isn't a popsicle. That's a cool card.
  7. I have a miller and have changed batteries once in it. No complaints. I also have a 3M that works well.
  8. At least this vintage puller had a good sense of humor about it.
  9. There are fairly strict regulations on hunting them from what I have seen. I know people who have hunted them. They are migratory so you won't have to be a stump to find one. The ones I've seen were a lot larger than a heron. A heron is about like a chicken with longer legs and neck. Not much substance for their size.
  10. That's why my old phones go in a pile of burning coals when I'm finished with them. No worries at that point.
  11. That's pretty special before the family tie. Good on you getting it going.
  12. That's interesting. Specialized climate is ideal I guess. Cool
  13. Like this one at the I80 truck museum.
  14. I was going to say "all of them" but Matt beat me to it. I'm sure it's a bunch.
  15. From 14x8 to 18.4x38. It will keep you going.
  16. Now you just need to get a PTO rigged up on your truck.....😎
  17. Live in Illinois and work in Indiana. That way I get to pay taxes in two states.....
  18. Welcome to the forum.
  19. Coal fired plant. 5 units capable of roughly 650 megawatts each at full load. I'm a boiler/turbine operator. I spent a day in a hydro plant once that was under the river. It was pretty cool to see.
  20. At work all night so the light will be on for those that party. Maybe the roads will be free of party goers by the time I head home at 6AM. Just another day at the power house.
  21. Happy Birthday!
  22. Funny you say that. LuberFiner plant is about 3 miles from me. They don't make those large chrome oil housings any more though. I've seen them put on V8 repower tractors and kinda like the look there. Not to go off topic but those old square hood trucks always appealed to me looks wise. SuperLiners, the 4300 IH trucks, etc...
  23. They are simply not designed for any sort of truck traffic. Not really anything with a trailer period. I pulled a 43' drop deck around one with a single axle 4900 and no matter what I tried it took the entire circle.
