I have been told I have the voice of a radio guy, or a preacher. Not sure if the preacher comparison is a compliment or an insult? 
Wife says I look a lot like John Durham. She also has seen a wedding picture of my paternal grandfather, that she swears is a dead ringer for a young Kevin Costner.

My youngest son resembles my maternal grandfather, and also a cousin on my Mom’s side.

Funny is a lot easier to live with than pretty.  It lasts a lifetime, pretty not so much.

However physical appearances are largely effected by the skin.

The inner beauty, or lack thereof, shine through and overpowers the physical aspects.

Indeed! Me too... also you can quite often tell whether someone is a decent person or not by paying attention to their eyes, I've always found in hindsight that those who have hurt me in some way have really evil lookin eyes.

In some countries a knife is regulated as a weapon. I think they ate in n England, @CRVB91 should know.

I carry a knife at all times when it's appropriate. Not in an airport, courthouse or  when skinny dipping.
