Pics might help. A figure eight pattern might work dirt to the outside more than you want. Hard to say.

Time for drawers in the work bench. The metallic flake paint makes them look mottled in the pics but that's ok. They fit as intended and will work well for lots of storage. There will be two sets in this bench and one set centered in the other bench when I'm done.

I kinda like it.

Got two coats of poly on the walls today among other things. Detail work coming up next.

It's really cool that it even exists. They are fairly rare birds.

I don't remember for sure where I saw it first but I've done it and it works well.

I'm guessing this barn to be mid 1800's. It's put together with square nails and they went out of style around 1890. All of these except the small shed by the bulk tank are late 1800's. Still used for cattle to this day. Somewhere I have a picture of Great Grandpa in front of the left barn without metal on it. This barn is some newer than the first barn but still built in the 1800's. Pretty decent shape for its age. The silo is brick that was from a local brickyard.

Yeah, don't see the gas standards or "I" series too often. Nice find. I've got one pic of a gas Standard and it's LP.

Working more in the basement. Last small space (7'x13') is studded, insulated, ceiling hung, wired, lit up (no pics of lights). Used more old barn tin on ceiling because I had it available.

Hopefully you can get things out with minimal carnage Ace.

Same here as @Gearclash says. If a farm was red at any time in history they had an H or M and most of the time both. I've never heard a local story about a 504. There were at least 3 different 350's within 2 miles of my house when new. One was a diesel with spin outs. A least 2 of them are still in the original family that purchased them. By the time the 504 came around, guys still had M's as a big horse. Some were using 560's and looking at 706/806. This area was all hogs, beef cattle, and row crops. All the grain went into animal feed and only overage past your storage limits was sold in the fall.

I have a roll of rubber mine belt that works well for that sort of thing. If you have access to something like that or will be through the Midwest again I could hook you up in the future. I cut pieces roughly the length of the plow and set them on the dirt floor in the shed. Keeps the points out of the dirt.

A guy I went to school with got a new one in the day. Regular cab, 8.1, 6spd. He put straight pipes on it..... oooof. Cool truck and kinda rare as mentioned. Good luck with it.

I've built several small implements. 2 row 3pt AC planter, 2 row IH planter, rolling basket for a small tractor or ATV, 6' field cultivator, drawbar for the 140 3pt, 3pt trailer mover/bail spear.
