Gooseneck trailer?

I'm pondering a different gooseneck. Something a little longer and will keep me under 26,200 lbs. Stopped at a local dealer this morning, he gave me a quote on a 'Maxx-D'. Looks okay and I like the 18 ply tire idea. 

Opinions, preferred brands? I have a P.J. currently and like it. Thought they were a P.J. dealer but maybe they are not?

My only advice is stay away from powder coating. Any trailer I had with it peels off in sheets. No one knows how to prep them properly or they are just too lazy.

Years ago I bought an h&h.  It had a slight spread axle to it.  It rode night and day different from all the others I had before it.

I have had 2 PJ trailers and they are no where near as good as the Titan I had previously. 
I pulled a Minsota? trailer and loved it. Sealed wiring was the selling point on it.

Why ,and "true": supporting data?

Went thru this 2 yrs back and passed.

Now depends whom wants their pockets stuffed.....pay $200 to make me go away today , until next time or $500 by mail.

1 Here the cut off is #25.9/26000

2 They add the "tagged" max gvw of BOTH not what it actual #

3  MFG 3500 x 6 tires > truck (usually what can PC handle larger trailer) and 2 axle trailer generally worth a hard lookie loo for pull over/pocket stuffing.

4   longer than 26' or 8 tires on trailer = automatic  #26000+ regardless for pocket stuffing.

5 every trailer 10001= cdl  and the gestapo was not allowing/"charging" pickup of #14000> without.

6 look under every bush and intersection they are deploying and using auto squealers,as tax increase of 40% + every year is not flying.(esp.BTOs')

since the spending/embezzling  never stops they added #2 drones and other spies for this profit center

7 have been stopped 2x so far for driving wifes car (probable "stolen") for pocket stuffing lookie loo. To "avoid" further issues,"gift" the MAn $$$ to list both on title!

Staying under a 26k is pretty much a 14k or 16k trailer and a 3/4  ton. Then when you add length you cant haul much 

Maxxd are nice trailers. Diamond c trailers are engineered lighter and stronger to carry more. 

Pjs has a sealed wiring harness and look good.

Midsota are best of best. 

Avoid ol big flex (tex) and any of the mass produced trailers.

I like my Moritz built in Ohio. 25ft with 8k axles.

I love my Keifer that I purchased new.  Wish I had ordered it with duals now.  They quit the flatbed manufacturing,  so I keep running mine.

H&H 25+5 here. Bought from I-80 Trailers in Desoto, IA. No problems yet. I have a MaxxD dump trailer as well. No issues with that either. Handy as a shirt pocket to have around.
