There’s o rings that seal the core to the case also. So far so good though. For vehicles with AC there is a conversion to make them super cold with the refrigerant from the AC system Quote

Takes a fair bit of power to run A/C. If you needed weight somewhere specially like behind the axle or for scaling the car out maybe a tank of water cooled by the AC as a thermal reservoir might work? Cool the water then kill the AC. 1 Quote

Ya for a drag car ice water circulation would work out better. The system I saw was for a Hellcat Likely not enough gain for the cost But the maker likely sees deep pockets in that street driven Hellcat crowd. Quote

AngrySailor Posted July 9, 2025 Author Posted July 9, 2025 Lost oil pressure in the axial damper. Most likely seals #6 are blown out. It’s basically a double acting piston formed from the crankshaft and the block. Oil enters the forward and aft space “OR” through non return valves at engine oil pressure and if the crank tries to move forwards or aft it has to pass the oil between chambers through orifice 3. We’re running at reduced speed to port for repairs. Figured this is what would happen but the OK had to come from the office and Wärtsila to run it. 1 Quote

AngrySailor Posted July 19, 2025 Author Posted July 19, 2025 I need to go back to work for a break… distributor machined for a slip collar to get the gear pattern right, bottom end done and sealed up. Had to cut the pan gasket to clear the stroke, blower belt hitting my water inlet pipes will need to make a back idler to keep it away and I went ape on the trailer yesterday. Trever is working on repairing some fibreglass issues and Today is a recovery day for me… 6 Quote
AngrySailor Posted July 21, 2025 Author Posted July 21, 2025 Check this out guys… This douche bag Richard AKA “Ricky Retardo” as we called him, was an “associate” of mine (I don’t want to call him a friend). He has a history of killing people with vehicles… turned left across in front of a car and killed the passenger, struck a pedestrian drunk leaving the volunteer fire hall (he WAS a VFF), then hit hit a guy on a bicycle and fled the scene. He was out on bail and had pled guilty to those charges. THEN I get this article today… if this guy lives he should sue the ever living **** out of the government for this guy being free!!! https://muskoka411.com/boating-accident-leaves-swimmer-fighting-for-his-life-and-operator-faces-impaired-charges/ 4 Quote

Notice they stated “violated terms of release” in the most recent article. Failure of the system… big time. I was locked up for open alcohol for two days because I stepped outside the patio area, he was out on bail at his cottage and mangled a fourth person… got lots of work done on the trailer last two days. Soon going to need to go to work for a break… 5 Quote
