DT Fan Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Wow! Can't remember if those were medium risers or high risers? Quote
Jacka Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Sure doesn't look like a barn.More of a garage and very well kept car. 1 Quote
Sledgehammer Posted March 29 Posted March 29 Those are very cool cars no matter where you find them. He probably won't have any trouble making big $$ selling it. I would be curious to see the "barn" though..... Quote

jeeper61 Posted March 29 Author Posted March 29 A "Barn Find" is a euphemism in car collector lingo to describe a car that was stored for a long time in less than stellar conditions That one isn't a real Cobra it's a ERA, that is a early replica but even these have gotten collectable and is likely worth 100k Now real one stored like that would be totally insane since they hammer at 1.5 to 5 million depending on condition. 1 Quote
Ihfan4life Posted March 29 Posted March 29 I thought Wayne was pushed out of the industry for some reason… surprised to see this from him. Quote
forwhldrv Posted March 29 Posted March 29 My father still talks about having ordered one and was only a few weeks away from when it was supposed to be delivered his father wrecked his truck so. My father canceled his order and put his deposit on a pickup for his father. I think he went on to buy a galexie 500xl with a 427 in it he said he blew it up under warranty and they put a 352 in it so he traded it off for something else. He said those FE side oilers would run the crank out of oil if you revved them to long. Quote

I believe it it a low riser, looking at the left side of the engine the intake ports are low high low high. That was the way all low riser and early high riser were and the port don't tall enough to be a high riser. 1 Quote
