There are a lot of people out there working over Christmas to keep us all moving and safe, they are in hospitals, power plants, out on the street patrolling, the list is nearly endless. They all make a sacrifice to keep everything flowing smoothly for all of us. They know who they are and I just want to let them all know we appreciate them and all they do.

Very much well said Seth. Them people are more appreciated then they know.  When I go somewhere over the holidays I always make it a point to tell whoever IThank you for your time working on holiday to keep things going..

Local 2 to 5 inches of rain and electric company had pole down. In 2 to 3 hours they were trying to put the power back on. Was on 5 minutes and back off about 4 times yesterday evening then off for another 1/2 hour before finally staying on. Some real down pours during the time they were out there. On our way home from the sons house they were still 4 or 5 trucks with lights all over working on thing. At least it was only in the mid 50's, so not too cold.

Good song. I used it in the wheat harvest video I made this summer. It was a #1 song in August of ‘85. Lots of people give up a lot during the holidays while the rest of us celebrate. Hopefully they all find a chance to celebrate with their families/friends as well.
