  6. I had a 2015 Freightlliner cummins IST 500 AT SmartShift Wilson 41 ft. hopper bottom trailer. Usually loaded to 85 thousand Ibs. Pulling out of field just put in low and walk right out, same when parked along highway shift into D and on your way. . once you pull a few loads the tranny will skip gears to for better MPG especially when running empty.It had a 10 speed

  8. I farmed with IH tractors , ran 450 460 808 560 966 1066 786 1086 3588 300U replaced 2 TA, I had 3 1066 and 2 1086, you can split gears and down shift in heavy tillage You'll have a tough time finding a IH in the corn belt without a TA
  9. My problem with JD is the ran 1920 technology till the 1960, as for hand clutch did you ever try to back a wagon into a barn with a JD G ?
