X2, when our Farmall H was rebuilt my dad was driving it home and it was spitting black smoke, took it back and got a different new points and condensor and it made a world of difference. Not saying that's the problem but it can really help 😄

The 9 horse Farmall Cub will out pull most any of the Cub cadets, and with the hydraulic lift/fast hitch they are really handy, especially for moving trailers around. We have a Farmall Cub and would take that most any day over the cub cadet since they are so versatile. 😁

To flip the question, would a 1066 hydro hi-crop be worth anything? I don't know if this exists but what about a 1026 hydro hi-crop Goldie? Or any high crop Goldie?

X2, just leave that on as it doesn't affect anything. My dad's H was originally a kerosene/distillate tractor but the shutters were removed and that linkage left in place. Tractor with the full setup, see rod going to that linkage and other rod going off of it to shutters. (not my picture)
