MT Matt Posted August 24 Posted August 24 Wish I could add pics but I bought a late 1964 Farmall 806d today. Poor tires and low side of TA is out. The good is the motor fired up with a touch of the button cold. The tin work is completely straight. For the price of $4200, I can work with what I got. I’ll get it moved home on Friday from Washington. 15 Quote
Wes806 Posted August 24 Posted August 24 Congrats You will like that 806. Miss mine but I really didn't need that much horsepower. 1 Quote
Sledgehammer Posted August 24 Posted August 24 Congrats on the new addition. Hopefully it serves you well. 1 Quote
MT Matt Posted August 24 Author Posted August 24 Thanks! And we also took the back roads to get there so we got to see some side hill combining along the way. It’s amazing the slopes those boys can make a combine stick to! 4 Quote
MacAR Posted August 24 Posted August 24 Congrats Matt! Hopefully we'll get our photos back soon, I'd really like to see that 806 working in the beautiful country you live in! 2 1 Quote
Farming Enthusiast Posted August 24 Posted August 24 Someday when everything else is gone from this earth, there'll only be cockroaches and 806s left. 😎 4 5 Quote

To the original poster, congratulations on your purchase. Curious you said late 64, is it a flat-top fender model? 1 Quote

MT Matt Posted September 4 Author Posted September 4 Got a seat suspension kit from K&M and new seat cushions installed. It had an aftermarket seat on it and not the best one. I don’t know how the guy I bought it from could drive the thing as far forward as it was. It’s comfortable now! 3 Quote
