DT Fan Posted March 4 Posted March 4 It's on my calendar! Now, if the weather holds, what tractor/plow to bring? 1 Quote
brewcrew Posted March 5 Posted March 5 Looks like you get some legitimate antiques. Last spring our local antique club had a plow day, and dad and I had the oldest tractors with 1966 806s… every tractor had either 4 or 5 bottoms. There were quite a few acres turned black that day! Lol Quote
Rainman Posted March 21 Author Posted March 21 Plow Day location : Same as previous years. S2302 Town Hall Road Reedsburg,WI 6 Quote
SASW6 Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Postponed to next weekend the 25th. I have had 7 inches of rain so far this month. 1 Quote

jass1660 Posted April 18 Posted April 18 Need at least ten days of dry weather here before we can touch fields. Quote
IHCPloughman Posted April 22 Posted April 22 What are the chances of this happening given the forecast for Thursday night and Friday? I’d like to come this year but I’ll need to take off driving while the organizers will possibly be still deciding whether to pull it off because it might be raining on Friday yet. Quote
Rainman Posted April 22 Author Posted April 22 Jon , 60% is my guess to.go. Friday a.m. 40 % rain. I'll call Duey to see what conditions are up in reedsburg... Here it's drying up... Sunday, neighbors were drag lining manure on 150 acres near me. Paul 1 Quote

IHCPloughman Posted April 24 Posted April 24 Thanks, I saw that on FB. I guess I’ll pull the trailer to Le Sueur in the morning and hope for the best. Quote

DT Fan Posted April 28 Posted April 28 So another year gets by that I don't make it! Hopefully before I die.... Here's the video John shot; 4 Quote
MCC Posted April 28 Posted April 28 I had everything loaded up and made it about 10 miles into the 80 mile journey and had a trailer tire failure. Extremely bummed out as this would have been my first plow day ever as a participant. Maybe next year. I do have new 16 ply trailer tires on the way. Dan 1 1 Quote
IHCPloughman Posted April 29 Posted April 29 Anymore if I'm going more than a few miles from home with a trailer I bring a jack and tools along to change a tire because I know it's going to happen. Trailer tires "go bad" for me before they are ever worn out tread wise. 1 Quote
