Anyone know of a person with a Scout mounting a Utemco 3-point hitch that's presentable for photography? There was one that showed up to Scout Nationals some years back and is shown in the pic below. Would like to find that one or another that's good for pictures. Any leads or clues appreciated. Thanks

Darius Harms had one. I think his family still owns it.

hi, I grew up in the city - what is a Utemco 3-point hitch and what does it do?  I can't seem to find much about it in google.  Does anyone have any pictures or videos of it in use?

Thanks.

You could mount most anything you could mount on a small tractor like a Ford 8N--plows, discs, mowers, etc.  Here's a post hole digger mounted on a Scout.

Jeep extensively promoted this on their CJ with the 3 point attachment in the late 1940s and some were sold as Farm Jeeps, but they never caught on because the tractor was better suited for that use although they were offered into the 1960s.  Google Farm Jeep to see more of the intended use of the hitch.

wow, that's cool.  I assume they're pto driven?  And can they be put on other trucks, such as the rear of a Loadstar or are they obsolete and no longer available?  Are any other brands available?  If so, where would a person find them?

back in the early 70s, A neighbor had a jeep he cut/raked/baled square hay with. It was not as good as a tractor but it got the job done.

He didn't own a tractor and the jeep was his only vehicle.

Didn’t Chevy(maybe GMC) have an advertisement years ago, of a pickup moldboard plowing?
