vtfireman85 Posted September 8 Posted September 8 I found out yesterday that one of my brother’s friends was killed Sunday in a motorcycle accident, he was 28 and leaves behind a fiancé and a 6 month old child. He had just moved back after getting a promotion and new job opportunity. Remember that the last time you see those you care about could be the last time. 12 Quote
12_Guy Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Sorry to hear about this but you are sooo right. We all have an expiration date, we just don’t know what when our time is up. Treat your loved ones like you might never see them again. 1 Quote

From my experience, people never realise this until its too late 🥺 think it can wait until they're not busy, or they're less stressed, or its more convenient- next thing you know the opportunity is gone, there is no "another day" If they matter to you, make time, its as simple as that. 2 Quote
whweldit Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Dad use to talk to a neighbor every Saturday night. One would call the other to catch up on the weeks news. Neighbor called on Saturday night and all was well. Somebody they both knew had passed away and they talked about it. Neighbor told dad he hoped when his time came he could just not wake up. Got his wish that night. Next morning he did not wake up. 3 Quote

Chester5732 Posted September 8 Posted September 8 That happened to a good friend of mine just over 2 years ago. Went for a motorcycle ride and never made it home. 33 years old and a month old baby at home. RIP Mike. 1 Quote
Ihfan4life Posted September 8 Posted September 8 Bad year for motorcyclists… 2 weeks ago (?) one was turning into a local eatery and was rear ended by a drunk driver. Dragged down the road before the driver stopped. 2x the legal limit. 2 Quote

Reichow7120 Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Last week on I-94 near me. A pickup pulling a trailer with a skidloader on it had a flat tire so they pulled on the shoulder to check it out. 2 guys got out to look and they were hit by a RL freight semi truck pulling doubles hit them. Truck ran off the road after that and rolled over. Truck driver survived, so did the guy in the pickup. The 2 guys outside the pickup and trailer. Killed instantly. Had Eastbound 94 closed for 10 hrs. You never know. 2 Quote
