I found a new phrase that is tough to hear. Got up this morning and the wife left me a note

"Problem, water was coming out of the ceiling last night!"

Well, good morning.

So I came home from work early, climbed up on the roof to see what we had

Well when I got the snow cleared

Vent melting snow next to the stack. So we climbed into the attic, and rooted around and found the spot, opened up the vapor barrier

More to come

Hope you get that leak with minimal problems!

Want to thank you for the souvenir I have it in I.H. room but brought it in to show family gathering the other day. BTW I show it a lot, I am very proud of it.

Thank You!

I am glad you like it Tony, thank you for having me down.

He leak was caught early, I think it will be more of an inconvenience then a problem. Worst case we quit putting off the new shingles

While using the 460 I found my fuel leak

So new line and a tube bender

This should help my fuel usage, burning it instead of drips

Did Tony not show you how to polish it?

Mechanical first, polish later

Works better without polish. lol.

I am currently on the north side of atiguin pass working on a bugger of a repair. We are in a hole with 500,000 gallons of water coming in every day and it is 20 below, which makes it fun for the crew keeping the hole open. We are wrapping up but it has been a challenge. We need to drive 1-1/2 hours each way from the camp on the famous haul road.

They are burning rod and we are cutting steel. The crane is freezing up and the three brand new gen sets from cat have a new safety feature that makes them shut down, so we had two get two guys out from cat to "re-map the parameters".

Interesting fact, the shop rate for cat in Deadhorse Alaska is 237/ hr

The project you were talking of with the kink/sag in pipe?

Yep, nothing is horrible, just maintenance before things are bad. Fairly routine but very involved

Ahh. The Arctic,

Yesterday it was -22* and a 35 mph wind, then add the blowing snow and we had visibility of about 50 feet on the road, lost site of the end of my hood at the job site.

It was not very pleasant to work out doors, and driving was a bit tense

Well another site done, moving into cell range soon and away from company provided wi-fi with blocks on posting pictures. I have a few for you guys

13 foot wide and the truck was 200 foot long. Had 3 push trucks. Not the biggest we ran into, but I was able to get a picture

Notice that heavy haul is on asphalt and there are lines on the road?

This was taken at milepost 354 on the dalton highway, 413 is the oil field, ice road my butt!

Love the pictures, I'm sure they don't do the actual view justice.
