Man is capable of terrible things

Terrible killing up in the mountains about 20 miles NW of me.

Man killing man, woman calls 911.  Dispatcher hears stabbing in call. Her last words on the phone were he's killing me.

Why did the woman call 911 in the house instead of fleeing? Most likely drugs involved and in use.

Cat Holler is a remote area. Very steep mountainous terrain. I think there are several cabins, all remote. 4wd was required  to get there.

Had to use the phone at the house because of no cell service??? or cell worked off wifi that was at the house??? or too much meth and no brain cells engaged.

There should be cell service up in that holler, I think.

Most of the cabins up there are pricy. The land itself is expensive due to the beautiful and private locations. I don't know who it was but they shouldn't be knuckle dragging dopers. Very possible they are paranoid antigovernment types though.

  I think that part of the problem is we are seeing what comes of a decades long attitude towards recreational drugs and the notion that there is no such thing as a bad drug.  We can go back and forth on whether marijuana is a harmful drug but some things are absolutely bad such as cocaine, crack, meth, and so forth.
