1086 rear remote seals

Ive been combing the internet for the replacement seals for the remote.  Its the outer 2 that I need.  should be a hard plastic oring and a slightly larger black rubber o ring.  Does anyone have a link or info where to find these?

Yes, your local CaseIH parts counter has these in stock.

I understand why people switch those IH couplers to the ISO kit, but I don't understand why they like them. 
I prefer the IH coupler.

Most of the new 2025 year and later CIH tractors have lever operated hyd couplers now......funny how old is new again.....😄

Try just replacing the O Rings first.

The IH lever style coupler was better in my opinion -- but most did not know how to work them and had troubles -- like bending the levers and difficulty connecting
Not sure how many of them I have repaired over the years

Put the tractor valve in float and you could connect when the hoses had pressure was a nice feature

Yes -- likely the leak is from the oring inside of the female part of the coupler , where the male tip seals

Easily replaced when looking in the coupler -- I don't remember the number

Because adapters suck. 98% of tractors in the world use the small couplers. if you own anything outside of a 66 or 86 series IH, you'll need to have adapters around because all your equipment will have small ISO couplers.

All of my equipment has the large IH ends....and my couplers don't just randomly fall out.

I always thought the IH tips were better as well.   Back when I had mostly IH tractors of that era, I had the IH tips on the main lift hoses, and Pioneer on the wing hoses.   Made it easy to get them hooked up right!    Unfortunately....the "aftermarket" tip became the standard everybody used.   And now that I have a 9230, JD7410, & NH 9030 - all with Pioneer couplers - ain't got much choice.

I agree the 66/86/88 coupler system is better but I also have other, smaller tractors  that use pioneer style.

So I try to have one pioneer and the rest IH style on my 66/86/88 tractors.  Works pretty good for me.

I dislike the adapters.

I wasn't lucky enough to only buy IH 66 or 86 series tractors. So its very impractical to put large IH couplers on equipment,  and then box myself into a corner and only be able to use 1 tractor on my equipment.

15 tractors here with hydraulics, 1 with large IH couplers, only 1 tractor has issues with spitting out a hose, and it's only on the #1 remote.
