BrunsFarms Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Did anyone else see the new Steiger 785? I saw it twice and it was pretty sweet. Nice to see that lime green! 4 Quote

lotsaIHCs Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Tried out a set of chains that were given to me. They are really good chains and I was hoping they'd fit my 1066, but they are way too short. Probably for 13.6 or 15.5. Won't work for 18.4/38. Suppose now I'll try the ones on my Hydro 70. They wrap around almost to the rim and have about 2 feet of chain left over. They might work, guess I'll see! I have buckets full of chain and cross links so I'm sure I can make something work. 4 Quote

BrunsFarms Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Its supposed to be 60 degrees tomorrow where I am. No need for snow removal equipment now, hopefully soon though, I like to plow snow! Quote

Steiger Green should have been retained. Looks cool and is instantly recognizable from miles away. The Steiger brothers may have worn white shoes and plaid pants but they recognized the free advertising potential in their paint scheme. Quote

I got a free CAT and Kubota hat, Handkerchief, Ram shirt, and bought a Case 1270 1/64 scale model for only $13 after taxes, and got a free New Holland bag out of it too! 1 Quote

Have you ever been there before? Did you see any of the sessions? Usually I can fill a canvas bag (also free) with stuff each day if I felt the need to. I just can't believe the amount of stuff they give out, especially Culver's. I (and others) reportedly have been known to get back in the Culver’s line more than once after just getting ice cream... 🤣 Quote
farmallcubkid Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Ground feed with the M Diesel today. It got kinda late on me though. 😁 9 Quote

I plan on going to Nationals every year I can. FFA comes with unbelievable perks. (Missing School) and lots of free things. We went to the morning opening session, and then the one that started at 2 on Thursday. We spent Wednesday and Friday traveling. I had lots of fun. Here are some more pictures from the Convention. Some are bad because my phone's camera was terrible at the time.🤷♂️ We also toured J&M Manufacturing on the way back and I snapped a couple of quick pictures there too! Best tour that we went on. 5 Quote
560Dennis Posted January 10 Posted January 10 For your edification and amusement. I took down this potentially troublesome maple on my lot line this morning. Used the Farmall as anchor point to pull it to where I wanted it to go. Happy with the results. Cutting it up for fire wood 🪵. Taking a break from bucking ,got me winded . Not good to be winded and operating a saw . It will cut better tomorrow. 12 Quote

Do your tires rub the fenders? Seems awful close in the pics. Quote

No they just clear , got the tires in close so to plow competition with Allis Chalmers 4-212 trailer plows , looks odd but it works set like that. I’d like to try to reclamp Fenders. Quote
