I've always used diesel for hornets nests.

I'm looking for the 4 ball joint ends on the shifters and the bushings, H pattern. CIH says discontinued for everything. CIH parts online doesn't give much detail on the parts. The 2 on the top of the transmission are the same and the 2 on the side are the same, same bushings for both levers. CIH list what other equipment uses the same part. The ones i checked ate also discontinued. other problem is the tractor is almost 3 hrs away. If I knew the size and stuff I could likely source some. Any idea where I can get some ?.

Great suggestions and I appreciate it but I'm in Canada, Ontario specifically so most of the options you suggest to me are a no go. I will try the local case industrial dealer

I'm in a bit of a pinch and need hydraulic oil for my 484 and the tractor is a hundred miles away along with the manuals for it. I have no case/IH dealer anywhere near me. What spec do I need for the oil ?

Ill look in my manuals ti see if they show that pattern.

It started right up after being parked since last November. Im still try to figure out the fuel enricher/choke on it.

I'll give a perfect example of what might have happened. I have a kolher K321 that I took out if a jd140 to rebuild, took it completely apart to have it bored 10 thou over and the crank machined. Its been apart for over 5 years now and I have forgotten how to reassemble the darn thing. I have all the new parts to reassemble but no time. Whoever too yours apart may have had the same issue.

I ordered just a plain old pto shaft off Amazon, was around $150 Canadian

My 484 has a allied 394 loadet on it. The loader apparently is a bit of an odd ball. I called allied about it and even they dont have a lot of information on it.

There is actually a big difference between front weights and loaded tires, they both do the same thing but in different ways. Front weights puts you load above the wheels, loader as well and adds weight to the center pin, axles, bearings, seals etc. Anything below the front weights has added stress on it. With loaded tires the only added weight in on the tires themselves. It lowers your center of gravity as well. I hope I explained the theory enough to understand what I'm trying to say.

Tractor is snowed in at camp till spring. I will investigate what exactly is sloppy and order parts accordingly.

I have a 484 whith the H pattern shifters that have become VERY sloppy, to the point that it will actually jam. Is there a kit I can order or individual components only. Service manual talks about a kit, no mention of it in the parts manual.
