Loadstar Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 1956-57 S series IH trucks. Nice ad from a magazine I have. Way too big for my scanner. Quote

A554 Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 An ad for the Australian made A414 tractor in the mid-60s. These tractors followed on from the British made B250/B275 and B414. Quote
A554 Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 More IH ads for IH equipment from 1970s. Quote
rjpont Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Again thanks for posting all these ads! They're all great ! Those ones from around the world are really neat to see! Quote
Loadstar Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Interesting to see the different looking Australian IH equipment. Here is another shade of red combine that was pretty popular here in their day. Quote
George 2 Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Is it possible for someone who is computer literate on this forum to make A554's excellent advertizments larger on the screen? They are very interesting. Quote
Loadstar Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Is it possible for someone who is computer literate on this forum to make A554's excellent advertizments larger on the screen? They are very interesting. All I tried was the zoom feature but then the pictures lose a lot of clarity and detail. I have taken a few more digital pics of some of the old ads I have here from the late 1930s. They are not premium quality but the best I could do with what I have to work with. This one for McCormick Deering tractors and their versatility at burning various fuels. Its interesting that fuel economy was a big selling feature even back in the days of 15 cent a gallon fuel. farmall57 Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Kind of a neat truck brochure from 1968. Hard to tell in the scan but the brochure is cut out around the camper and is made from stiff heavy paper. Quote
Loadstar Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 Those are some nice truck ads. I have here an ad for the IH 55 chisel plow . Early 80s? Quote
A554 Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 I have resized the scans I posted previously and reposting them. Quote
