here on Red Power? Finally got YouTube working on the ‘movin picture box’. In addition to A Few Acres Farm, I have taken a liking to Boehm Farms. I know the fella that hosts the podcast does have a bit unconventional voice delivery, but he is very energetic, and business minded(imho). Does he do things 100% the way I would have? Of course not, I do applaud his desire of utilizing older iron.

 I just came across this one a few days ago. Need to replace some bearings on the separator clutch on my combine here pretty soon.

I've watched him for several years.  I enjoy his videos, do think some maintenance would go a long ways on his equipment.  It does appear though they are making small acreage work with the farm, cattle and greenhouse.

Jacob does a podcast (a podcast is kind of like a radio talk show, but on the internet)? Or are you calling his youtube channel a podcast?

Been watching his channel since he had 500 subscribers. He does things the way most small farmers did in the 70s and 80s. There just isn't time for cleaning and polishing and painting and fixing cosmetics when you're a one-man show. His dad got his arm wrapped up in the PTO shaft on the ear corn elevator a few years ago and I think he's semi/mostly-retired from farming now.

One thing I don't judge on is "maintenance." Just because they don't show it on screen doesn't mean it's not being done. He buys mostly junk at consignment auctions so he's not starting with much to begin with.

I did, on and off, because I liked their 1466 content, but then I tuned in one day and it was put to pasture and not used so I lost interest.

Ill take issue with what your saying is there is a lot of equipment peddled in and out of there. If its like a true 80s type outfit. The iron peddling isn't going on. There wasn't trading in and out equipment. It went in. The only way out was by the pound at the scrap yard. I lived it so i know.

Yeah its not new stuff but it all adds up after a while.

On a related note. 

Did they ever fix the 2+2 they shoehorned into the garage/shop? It went in and the last i watched it was still in there. And that was a while ago now.

It has moved out of there on its own but, I don't believe it is all fixed.  He had a video earlier this year on it.

I have seen one episode he was using a 2+2 in the field. I don’t recall the date. I receive the episodes in a ‘random order’, if I watch one right now, it may be  from last year, the next episode may be 5 years, then a couple weeks ago, then 8 years ago, etc., etc. 

I wonder, if was to ‘subscribe’ to his channel, would I see the episode’s in chronological order?

You can just click on the channel name and it sorts them by order.

If you subscribe you will receive the latest video in your feed when it is released. If you want to view old videos in chronological order, see @IHandJDman's advice above.
