acem Posted June 13 Posted June 13 Do the seat cushions, etc interchange between the two types of seat bottom cushion frames? I understand there are two basic styles of connection used on the seat. One for the hydraulic and another for the mechanical suspension in tractors. Early 14 series combines used the hydraulic style connection. I think the late 14 series combines used the mechanical style connection. Reason I ask is I have a good used seat from a 1622 cotton picker.it appears to be a mechanical style convection. I want to disassemble it to use on a hydraulic style seat for my early 1480 combine. Quote

Drysleeves Posted June 13 Posted June 13 I’d have to consult my literature collection to see if IH ever changed the seats during 1400 Series production Quote
