Sledgehammer Posted April 29, 2018 Author Posted April 29, 2018 Not bad for a 6' home brew setup. Made two passes and you could easily plant into what it left behind. Ground was plowed last fall/winter and left to sit. Ground is still a little cold to plant the sweet corn so I may let that go a few days before I drag the 2 row planter out. Quote
TN Hillbilly Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Wonder if MTO regrets selling you that thing, after you’ve shown us all how useful it can be? Quote

I just sent him a pic or two of it working a couple minutes ago actually. I like seeing things get used so even when I have sold things I appreciate knowing they are still earning their keep. I started working on a 2 btm plow for it yesterday. That will have to be its own thread though since it is going to take some engineering to make the 1pt fast hitch into a 3pt plow. That's half the fun of trying though Quote
TN Hillbilly Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 I like getting pics of stuff I’ve sold being used or fixed up. Makes you feel better about selling it. I send the original owner of my ‘97 F250 PSD a picture from time to time, usually shined up and w a big load of hay behind it, just to let him know “his” truck is still out there, earning its keep. Sledgehammer Posted April 29, 2018 Author Posted April 29, 2018 I was pulling it in 1st gear and if I dropped it all the way down I could stop the tractor dead in its tracks. It wouldn't power out, just sit and spin. When I got done I took my little boy on his first tractor ride. 1 Quote
Wes806 Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Good job on mini cultivator. Glad to see it worked as planned. Hope you and your little boy enjoy his first tractor ride Quote

Alan Dinan Posted June 26, 2018 Posted June 26, 2018 Are you going to add wings on it now for the big tractor? Lol Alan Quote

jwal10 Posted July 3, 2018 Posted July 3, 2018 We run rolling baskets on the back. If dug in the fall and spring they dig good and keep the ground level. No need to plow here. Great for small areas....James Quote
