Fill a cup with water fill it the rest of the way with ice until water is just about ready to overflow, leave it sit until ice melts, cup doesn’t overflow 🤔 Now try it with the ice out of the cup of water and let it melt into the cup. Greenland, for example, has an ice sheet averaging over a mile thick over land. Antarctica is similar. 1 hour ago, ray54 said: A rich people are still buying beach houses.🤔 How did they ever get a dollar saved being that dumb. If you’re rich enough you don’t care that your beach house may wash away. Look at the homes on the Outer Banks. The OBX changes size and shape all the time yet is still covered with houses. 2 Quote
acem Posted May 22 Posted May 22 The melting ice caps have made a big difference in sea level since the last ice age. However the remaining ice caps are not big enough to make the ocean rise more than a few feet. But that would be significant in many coastal areas. I was taught in school the next ice age would soon be here. Quote

My neighbor was able to drive his tractor but the planter wouldn't function. This is the valve I am replacing on our sprayer right now. Manual steering still worked just fine. This was the only valve in the lower 48 states that Deere had for this model. 2 Quote
acem Posted May 23 Posted May 23 Are there any manufacturers markings on it? I expect it's made by one of the hydraulic companies. Quote

I suspect since it’s on a John Deere, that it is a John Deere proprietary valve made by someone else. I don’t know that for sure though. 1 Quote
