For anyone wondering, Hobbsville , NC is in far northeastern corner of North Carolina. Flat land, big fields, sandy soil makes moldboard plowing easy. It is not like that everywhere in North Carolina! 

What will be grown on that land this summer?

No. Never been in that part of the state.

Ok. This part of the state yes is more of a sandy loam topsoil mix and many have the misconception that it is easy to plow and to some extent yes it makes for a nice plowday but don't let that innocent sandy topsoil fool you. It can pull quite hard when moist or mixed with a little clay. Pretty much from Goldsboro or Interstate 95 East it is some of the Best soil you will find in any part of this state. And the best part is NO rocks and its Flat.

I'm about 50 miles from there. I had the 544 hydro and 3 bottom plow ready to go, but had a storm come through blow up the roofing and siding off part of my house. So I felt I had other priorities!
