NO! It’s my problem child. I need to pull the pto on it and figure out what is wrong. PLUS, it either needs head gaskets or heads. AND the seat bushings are JUNK. 

It’s Lisa’s tractor, well I guess the 2090 is too, but she definitely claims the 830.

Grandpa bought it new in 55, or 56. According to the build card, it started life as a 41, I think. Got sent back to Racine and reworked. Came back to Nebraska rebadged as a 54. Live power, dual hydraulics, and foot clutch. 
He had a loader on it until the mid 70s. By far the easiest starting engine we have. 
On a side note, it was sold in Brownlee Nebraska. Town of around 25, at that time, and I don’t think there’s 10 people in there now.

dad has my grandpas, i believe 51 that he bought new in 52 from the case dealer in van meter ia, i helped grandpa restore it several years ago! It is a nice tractor, that and great grandpas CC started case in our blood, DC, two low tin 830 COM, 800 COM, 700 that I pull, 800 standard(pretty rare), 1030, 1370 I think I got them all lol!

Not sure what designation they are, but there’s a few 800 standards around here. My 830 is a COM and the 800 I paid $400 for

The standard we have is actually 800 model, it has non adjustable rear wheels and non adjustable front axle, it has clam shell fenders, eagle hitch, pto and remotes. If memory serves me there was something like 400 of them built. I believe it to be available to a new home

i stand corrected, I found production numbers listed on YT, 1958 there were 145 built, 1959 110 were built, I don't recall off the top of my head if this one is a 58 or 59

Mine is getting to the point that I need to work on the COM. The torque converter area is leaking and it doesn’t pull like it should. I think the only thing I have ever done is adjust the valves on the motor and convert it to a Delco alternator. 
It just keeps going.

@Lazy WP I'm liking that L665 lurking in the back of that picture.  The 18XX, XT and 400 series Cases are my first pick but those L665 and the like were good machines.  And yours looks nice yet.

I paid WAY too much for it, but I kinda like it. It creeps forward and seeps down, but we’ve figured out how to live with it.

Some settling of arms and bucket is to be expected.  The creeping, if it is creeping because one or both hydros aren’t quite in neutral, should be fairly easily remedied.  If it creeps on a hill, that is normal too within reason.

Do you remember the dealer name or location?
There was an IH dealer (Van Meter Motors) there that was gone by about 1960. 
I don’t remember Dad ever going there.  He usually dealt with Bobst in Earlham or Riverside in Adel.

@E160BHM I think it was Moore chevrolet, they called him strut, I can ask grandma, my 47 IH baler came from van meter motors, My service manager at case was originally from riverside, Obie Bowen, also knew Curt Hiatt well he went to greenfield imp, and Darrel Hudzell ai may not have spelled that right. Grandpa worked for strut for a while not really sure how long, reach out to me, always fun to chat with a local, I grew up around van meter, and still live close, out south of Booneville, about three miles from my parents and grandma. I am going to guess we know a lot of people in common.
