  1. Thanks for looking it up
  2. My Dad brought these in around 1995 and I may sell them but don’t know what they fit. I took pics of the part numbers , thanks for any help. I wish I could ask him but he has been gone for 20 years
  3. Tractor was traded to Konnecker and Brown in Carlinville Illinois back in the mid 90's for a combine. Bought another 5488 later with a FWA.
  4. Found this on a shelf at the farm, was this a warranty card? Dad bought a 5488 right at the CaseIH takeover. He received a letter in the mail stating it was the last tractor IH sold as the takeover took effect,
  5. We finished applying liquid nitrogen to the field corn today. Just saw the first tassel on the garden corn tonight!!
  6. I saw one for sale at a vendor for 6500 during the show.
  7. Next week at the show from what i read also.
  8. We were there today, big crowd and about a billion UTV'S. We took our Polaris and was glad we did. There is no way to walk around all the show and field demo's. It is hard to describe how big this place is and spread out. If you have never been and like seeing older equipment to show or in the field try to make a point to go, it was a great day!!
  9. I see you can have gold carts or side by sides but can you have a 4 wheeler there, didn't see anything on the web page about them. Thanks
  10. Thanks for the reply's , probably going to the HCOP. Bad thing is they are out of golf cart to rent so it will be a lot of walking.
  11. I have never been to the Farm Progress show or the Half Century shows in Illinois. Both are coming up this month and i am trying to decide which to visit. I like old equipment and new stuff and i read where both have field demo's. For you that have been to both which do you prefer? Thanks
  12. We are closing in on 40" for the year so far. Rains about every 3 days, giving rain again tomorrow. Soon as the ground dries out enough to plant it rains again. Bad thing is usually on years when it does this when it quits it doesn't rain for a long time.
  13. I wish we could give you all that need rain some of our wetness. We have gotten about 27 inches since the first of March, can't go three days without more rain. Soon as it dries up enough to try to get in the field it rains multiple inches again. Hate to gripe about rain but we need a break from it. Way behind here getting crops out and hay cut. Seems like we have been under severe weather alerts for the last two months straight.
  14. Over 16”now and still pouring rain
  15. 13"here since Wednesday night with 3-6" more before it ends Sunday night, flooded everywhere. Big state lakes have risen over 20 feet in 2 days. After that temps in the 20's Monday and Tuesday night, going to be a late start of planting here in Ky.
  16. Recently i was at a place who charged 3% if you used cash. I asked why and was told because we have to count it and take it to the bank.
  17. 2024 KLX 300 dual purpose bike , ride it daily if it’s over 50 degrees
  18. Plowed the garden this week!!
  19. Bought this old jack for 42.00 on a local online auction , it’s a 2 1/2x 24 “, any idea on how old it might be and who made it , thanks
  20. Neighbor just talked to a pole barn builder today about pricing a new building. He told him to do it soon as concrete is going up 15% and steel is going up 25% by mid April. He told him the new steel tariff is to blame on the metal price increase. Seems like a big jump.
  21. We started running beans yesterday, 12% moisture. We received 8.3 inches of rain out of the hurricane storm and another storm last week with alot of hail and high winds. Our early maturing beans are popping out bad so its a rush to get them combined. Went from raining all of May with 14 inches of rain to a long prolonged dry spell to getting a bunch of rain last week , be glad when this crop year is over!! The corn we were running before the storm last week was at 11-12 %, way drier than normal for September corn harvest.
