We have a 674 Farmall, that the rear remote hydraulics don't operate, the lever moves both ways, but nothing happens, any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

Need some more context to help you out.  Was it working and then just stop?  Is this a new to you tractor or one that you don't have any history on?

Have you recently taken a loader off or is there a power beyond valve?  The reason I ask is, my BIL bought an 884 (same hydraulic system) and the remotes wouldn't work.  Turns out the previous owner took off a loader and loader valve, but didn't connect the power beyond lines back together to get flow back to the valve.  Simple fix once we knew what was wrong.

Been reluctant to reply. Only have two ideas but your wording seems to eliminate them. First would be the couplers checking but you should hear the engine labor and the relief valve squeal when you move the lever. Second would be unloading valve closed. This usually results in empty hitch always being at the top and won't lower with engine running. A weighted hitch may appear to work normal but you should notice the engine run freely while hitch is dropping. Also hydraulic oil getting hot

"bucket, 3 point and PTO all work, any ideas"

Bucket working ?? so this has a loader on it ?

Remotes share the oil for the 3pt

"the lever moves both ways, but nothing happens," -- nothing at all ?? -- is the lever even connected ?

Like to see pictures of a 674 Farmall -- my scrapbook is incomplete

I missed the word bucket. That adds possibilities. Need details of how that is plumbed to go further.

I did catch the Farmall part. Would have been interesting if they had built one. Just have to be satisfied with row crop utility.

Just guessing until we get specifics. Guessing they used auxiliary supply line for loader and returned to tank instead of using a power beyond plate. Could still be made to work if loader valve has power beyond capabilities.  Or just start over with a power beyond plate.

Farmall  674???  Would like to see how the loader is plumbed??  Unloader valve issue normally, hitch doesn’t work unless remote valve is put on demand

Thanks for the replies,  the loader has been on the tractor as long as I can remember, my dad had a snow blower that I think used the remote Hydraulics, but cant be certain as he has passed away, I was wondering if the lever should stay centered?  The lever does seem like it might be unhooked but I am not certain how to hook it back up once I take that area apart, again I appreciated all the replies.  THanks

Lay under the tractor and get us a picture of the valve and handle (or remove that cover)

Could have 3 bolt or 4 bolt valves on that one
-- either way was pins that held the lever on the valve
-- and short bolts holding the lever pivot to the front of the valve
