544 Power Beyond Plate

I just bought this 544 utility and it has what looks to me as a power beyond plate on the end of the remote stack. Now correct me if I’m wrong but this shouldn’t be on there with plugs in it? I either need to put a loop hose in or remove it. Is there a plate I can put on the end to make the oil loop or do I need to find a different end valve? Thanks

I'm not familiar with the 544 but I believe they use the same valves as the 06 through 66 series.

There is a cap that was available for that plate that allowed the fluid to circulate through. A loop hose would work too. Be sure the hose has a swivel on one end.

I didn’t know there was a cap available that circulated. I went over to a junked out 706 we have and it looks like it has one

Get longer bolts and add that valve also

-- you can have 3 remotes
that old 544 will be talked about at the coffee shop

Is that a left hand 706?   Everything looks backwards to me.....

EDIT:  Hydrotek is correct - Its been too long.  Forgot the valves on those are under the seat - not off to the right side.

Look again -- it's correct 

valves mount to the RH seat rail
LH rail is at the bottom of the picture

My 806 had that same longer end plate with caps but it always worked correctly. 

I'll have to look in the barn but I'm 99% certain it's got a loop inside and won't work for a power beyond.

That cap was a later change they made,  no need for the weird end valve on the assembly line,  just slam the end cap in the valve weather it's got 1 or 2 valves.

Thanks guys I took the end plate off the 706 and put it on the 544 in place of the power beyond plate. The tractor works much better now. Not sure what the previous owner was thinking.

Actually the cap I was talking about goes on the end of the power beyond plate where your plugs are.

If you don't need the power beyond plate it has value.

Yeah, guys on here asking about Power beyond to install joysticks all the time.   Most likely the previous owner had a loader on it.

Hope you also took the valve off the 706 and got it out of the weather now that the plate is gone!
