Hi guys,

im having trouble finding an original battery box for my 1948 td6. So what I was gonna do was have one made. My question is that is there anyone out there that still has one with an original battery box and if they would be able to cut out a cardboard cut out of the side of the box so I have it as an template to take to a fabricator for the angles and such. I will pay for your time and to ship the cardboard cut out to me. Thanks

I don't know where a 1948 falls into the serial break and I cannot help with the parts but I can post parts manual pages

I wonder if he is looking for a battery box mounted on the fender of a 'low profile' style seat? My first TD6 had one on the left side of the seat but not enough room under the seat cushion for batteries.  I sold my low profile TD6 so I can't help him.

I appreciate that but yes mine is a low profile so battery goes on the fender. Thanks

Correct, mine goes on the fender and has like that battery cover on a hinge. Thanks

What would you want to build one? I found the original batter box cover but I still need a hold down for the battery. Thats clean work. Thanks
