You must have a big lunchbox for hauling them home and massive biceps from lifting them out 🤣

No after 25 year working there I made a precast mold at home to pour them and told work I was going to make some blocks and they just said ok so I’d pour 2 blocks and put them in the back of my pickup and bring em home  2 blocks at a time. I’m going to make myself a set soon incase I want to practice some at home. But on the way to Seth’s pull Saturday morning I got a call from work asking if I could go to the concrete plant I work out of and load a truck from another one of our plants  that was doing a job up the road and needed 10 more yards of Crete to finish the job. It took me 20 minutes to open up the plant load the truck and tell him to dummy lock the gate on the way out I was heading to a pull. I like working for a small company

Tractors on a diet  stripping all the weights off it. Put the green ones in the back of the truck for the 520 Deere at a pull next weekend figured they could live in the back of the truck for a week beats unloading them just to load em back up

Nice! I hope it all works out, that was disappointing for me, and I didn’t even own it!

Yup it happened I wasn’t thrilled about it but I’ll get it back up and running again. May have a different color tractor to come to the pull next year. Hoping it stays in it till close to the end like the 450 does just gotta get it and set it up. The girlfriend wants it to pull with and has the money for it.

Made the trip today to Hamburg NY from the house and back. We took off this morning about 3 and just rolled in about 15 min ago almost 900 miles today. Met the guy who is a dairy farmer that’s in the process of putting up a new barn after his last year burned down he is weeks away from getting into it he has been renting a place a town away for his heard. What a nice guy talking with him they have plenty of old red iron around still being used. It started snowing as we loaded it up and we pushed through ahead of the cold and snow for around 150 miles till we got ahead of it on 90 and kept on trucking.

Conquest, NY on the dealer tag is interesting.

Just a little bit Northwest of Syracuse in the center of the state.  I will have to check out that area in the spring.

Glad to hear that your trip went well!

Yes nice trip it was starting to snow as we loaded up around 12  In Hamburg NY. We grabbed a quick lunch to go and headed east we pushed ahead of the snow and had dry roads by the time we hit Albany. We had decided by 2 in the afternoon we were making good time so we would push to the house rather than stay in a hotel. We took off at 3am and pulled into the driveway at 845pm did t have much time for sight seeing. I may go look for that old dealer in April thinking of taking my daughter to Niagara Falls during her school break. Unloaded it today I’ll start taking it apart over the winter to get it ready to go in my tractor.

Good, good, and good!

Let me know when you are planning on coming and we can go look together.  There is a little diner near there that I like!
