hardtail Posted October 7, 2025 Posted October 7, 2025 Take it easy with the recovery, your more at risk once you start feeling better, takes longer to heal as we age 1 Quote
td9bcf180 Posted November 10, 2025 Author Posted November 10, 2025 Update: It's been a hectic last 3 months but my TD9-91 engine is back in place BEFORE the first snowfall today. I started it up yesterday and it runs great with new clutch in place, front and rear seals replaced, new fan/alternator belts, new thermostat, new rad hoses and new fluids throughout. A few minor plates/floorboards, etc. to tighten down but the big job is over. I will post some pics later. (it took 3 months as I waited a month for the rear seal and then a hospital stay with surgery Oct. 2 and no heavy lifting for a month after that. ) 2 Quote
Rawleigh99 Posted November 11, 2025 Posted November 11, 2025 Great news. I'm glad you were successful without further injury to yourself. Now you have something to look forward to in spring! 1 Quote
